Bride and Groom’s Stylish Ensembles
The bride and groom’s outfits were designed by Pratima and Roshan, who are the owners of boutique clothing stores. The bride’s outfit was elegant and glamorous. She wore a red silk lehenga with gold embroidered work on it, along with a red dupatta (long scarf) that matched her lehenga. She also had gold jewelry to match her outfit.
On the other hand, the groom wore traditional Indian attire: a kurta pajama (long shirt), accompanied by an angrakha jacket (a type of jacket worn over the kurta). A traditional turban was tied on his head as well. The bride’s outfit was designed by Pratima and Roshan, who are the owners of boutique clothing stores. The bride’s outfit was elegant and glamorous. The mother of the bride was dressed in a pink saree with a matching blouse and dupatta while her sister wore an orange saree with green embroidered work on it along with a green dupatta. The groom’s mother wore a white saree along with a golden border while his sister wore an emerald.
Bridal Party Attire
The groomsmen, who wore green Sherwin’s with white shirts and trousers, were a handsome bunch. They included the groom’s brother and best friend from childhood as well as his college roommates.
The bride was escorted by her father and uncle, both in traditional Indian attire that included kurtas (a long shirt) and churidars (a pair of loose pants).
The bridal party posed for a family photo before heading inside to join the bride’s mother on stage at her seat in the center of the hall.

Dramatic Decor at the Ceremony and Reception
Indian weddings are known for their vibrant and dramatic decor. The bride and groom’s outfits are often matched to the decor, which can be any color or combination of colors. The decor is a big part of any Indian wedding because it is designed to be attention-grabbing and beautiful.
In traditional Indian weddings, the color red is associated with good luck, happiness, prosperity, and joy. The bride wears red during her wedding ceremony while the groom wears white; these colors symbolize their union as husband and wife. Because of this symbolism surrounding red in Indian culture (and because it looks so good!), you will find plenty of reds within your decoration schemes at any Indian affair! If you want something more modern however then try incorporating green into your designs as this represents nature & fertility – perfect for New Year celebrations!
